Making literacy easy in Science

In Science, students need to be able to

  • communicate scientific understandings and findings to a range of audiences
  • construct evidence-based arguments and conclusions
    evaluate and debate scientific arguments and claims
  • describe events and phenomena
  • report on experiments
  • present and evaluate data
  • explain the reasons for and causes of phenomena and explain outcomes and consequences
  • compose multimedia texts (including charts, graphs, diagrams, pictures, maps etc).
